Frequently Asked Questions

Please dress respectfully for worship. Formal wear isn't expected, but please refrain from overly casual attire, such as shorts.

We hold services on Sunday mornings. A prelude or quite mediation begins at 10 a.m. Corporate services begins at 10:15 a.m.

Our congregation is in a season of transition without a full-time priest. During this season, our services are being officiated by lay members of the congregation and clergy from within our diocese and visiting pastors.

Please join us in praying for a faithful shepherd to lead Christ's flock here at New Creation Anglican.

Holy Communion is reserved for baptised Christians in good standing, who are living in repentance and charity with their neighbors.

Before receiving, believers are called to examine themselves, acknowledging St. Paul's waring in 1 Corinthians 11:27-29. "So then, whoever easts the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone out to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who east and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgement on themselves."

A Christian is a person who has been baptized in the name of the Father, and o the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and who follows Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

To follow Jesus Chris is to believe his teachings, trust in his saving death and resurrection, and to seek to obey his commandments in daily life.

1) To worship God in prayer and thanksgiving.

2) To repent of sins and turn toward God.

3) To grow in faith through Scripture, fellowship, and the sacraments.

4) To love God and neighbor, living out Christ's example in the world.

God strengthens Christians by his grace, given through the Holy Spirit, the Holy Scriptures, the sacraments (especially Baptism and the Eucharist), the community of the Church, and continual prayer.

The goal is to grow into the likeness of Christ, to share in God's life of love, and to inherit the hope of eternal life in God's kingdom.
